Every cannabis product sold legally in Washington or Oregon — Loot Bar included — has to pass through state-mandated, third-party lab testing before it's allowed on a dispensary shelf. That's not a brand-specific policy; it's a requirement enforced by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) and the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC).
What gets tested
Potency — verifying THC, CBD, and other cannabinoid percentages match what's on the label.
Pesticides — screening for banned or over-threshold agricultural chemicals.
Heavy metals — checking for contaminants like lead or cadmium that can come from soil or hardware materials.
Residual solvents — confirming extraction solvents were fully purged from the final product.
Microbials — screening for mold, yeast, and other biological contaminants.
Why it matters
A product that fails any of these tests can't legally be sold — it gets destroyed or reworked, not shipped to stores. That testing infrastructure is part of why buying from a licensed Washington or Oregon dispensary is meaningfully different from buying from an unregulated source.
